Packing, cloths and other useful items

Space in the Vehicle/s is limited and we request that you pay particular
attention to the following guidelines.

1/ we recommend that you utilize old or inexpensive luggage. Suit cases are not suitable.
2/ you may use a small/medium sized knapsack, provided that it has no frame. We advise you to pack light cloths for the day time and a jacket or sweater for the evenings, and a good pair of walking shoes even if you are going trekking – path ways around historic sites are usually uneven and stony. Trekkers in Siemen and Bale mountains will need warm clothes, water proofs and 3- 4 season bags. On a cultural note- Ethiopians are generally modest dressers, and visitors should be sensitive about going undressed into places of worship. Shoes must always be removed before entering churches and mosques.

4/ we advise to bring with you everything that you need which you may not get readily when you need it; you can also get most genuine necessities from Ethiopia.
